Spring Awakening is part of SID Magazine’s biannual print series – a publication built around contemporary menswear, fashion storytelling and stylish subversion. Photographed in Los Angeles by Wolfgang Zac, the issue features Kush Banda in Mister Green and vintage Louis Vuitton, with styling by Sylvester Yiu and grooming by Hailey Adickes.

The design direction draws on the energy of subcultural print, music ephemera and adolescent rebellion – Smells Like Teen Spirit as visual research. Black and white photography charged with acid green, graffiti-influenced typography and small graphic interruptions. The layouts sit somewhere between fashion magazine, zine and music poster: tactile, graphic, raw and untamed.
